We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including physical examinations and health assessments for pediatric patients across outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions, utilizing advanced knowledge of pediatrics, neonatology, and pediatric neuropsychology.
- Develop personalized care plans that incorporate immunizations, chronic disease management, acute illness treatment, and developmental screenings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including specialists in cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, psychiatry, and other related fields.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic and EMR systems to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
- Provide family education on health maintenance, nutrition, behavioral health, injury prevention, and developmental milestones.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects to enhance pediatric care standards.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice pediatrics.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics from an approved certifying body.
- Previous experience with EHR systems; familiarity with medical coding (CPT, ICD).
- Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, immunizations, and infection control protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient service and family engagement.
- Commitment to adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
