Post Acute Specialists is seeking a skilled Orthopedic Physician (MD) to join our growing telehealth team supporting patients in post-acute care settings. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-impact orthopedic expertise remotely while maintaining flexibility, autonomy, and a strong clinical support structure.
Our mission is to extend specialized orthopedic care into skilled nursing and post-acute facilities by leveraging innovative telehealth technology and a dedicated onsite care team. This model enhances patient access, improves outcomes, and allows physicians to focus on clinical decision-making without the traditional administrative burden.
Position Highlights
Flexible, Physician-Directed Scheduling
Design your own schedule to support your preferred work–life balance. We ask for a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week or 40 hours per month, allowing you to scale involvement based on your availability and goals.

Centralized scheduling, billing, and IT support enable you to focus on patient care rather than administrative tasks.
Hybrid Telehealth Care Model
You will work alongside onsite MAs/CNAs trained as dedicated telehealth care coordinators. They ensure patient readiness, facilitate connectivity, assist with documentation, and optimize clinical workflows—maximizing your efficiency and patient engagement.
Comprehensive Onboarding and Training
We provide structured system training following onboarding and credentialing to ensure seamless integration into our clinical operations and telehealth platform.
Transparent, Performance-Based Compensation
Our RVU-based compensation model includes a clearly defined 50% RVU share, ensuring your productivity is rewarded fairly and transparently.
Ideal Candidate
- Board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon (MD)
- Interest or experience in post-acute care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Comfortable practicing via telehealth (training and support provided)
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in applicable states
