Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across designated regions. This energetic role involves developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. As a vital member of our sales team, you will leverage your expertise in B2B sales, management, and territory development to expand our market presence. Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to grow the territory’s market share through direct and inside sales efforts.
- Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and targeted marketing campaigns to expand the customer base. Must be willing to daily commute to our Elgin, IL office when not traveling. Expected overnight travel 50%+.
- Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, conducting product demos, and upselling solutions that meet client needs.
- Conduct detailed territory management by analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to optimize sales approaches.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track prospects, manage pipeline stages, and maintain accurate account records.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that support long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop tailored campaigns that enhance brand visibility within your territory.
- Deliver technical product presentations and demonstrations to educate clients on features and benefits of our offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a focus on territory management.
- Proven track record of selling consumer goods to brick-and-mortar retail chains.
- Experience with power tools and accessories, or similar products found in hardware stores and big box stores, is a huge plus
- Excellent communication skills for effective account management, customer service, and team collaboration.
- Familiarity with CRM software for lead generation and pipeline management.
- Demonstrated success in cold calling, lead generation, and direct sales strategies within a competitive environment.
- Analytical skills to assess market data, identify opportunities, and develop targeted sales plans.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of motivation and enthusiasm for achieving targets. Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
