Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Laundry Supervisor - Housekeeping to lead our laundry operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency. In this role, you will oversee daily laundry activities, supervise housekeeping staff, and maintain a seamless flow of clean linens and garments for our guests. Your leadership will be vital in creating a welcoming environment where cleanliness and hospitality excellence thrive.
Responsibilities
- Supervise laundry staff to ensure timely and quality processing of linens, uniforms, and guest clothing
- Coordinate with housekeeping teams to meet daily laundry needs and special requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels of detergents, cleaning supplies, and linen stock, placing orders as needed
- Train team members on proper laundry procedures, safety protocols, and equipment usage
- Conduct regular inspections to uphold hygiene standards across all laundry operations
- Implement efficient workflows to optimize productivity while maintaining high-quality results
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supervising laundry operations or custodial services within hospitality or commercial settings
- Strong background in cleaning, janitorial, or hotel housekeeping management
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
- Knowledge of laundry equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventories and workflows
- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
