Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – Full-Time
Location: Coos Bay, Oregon
Pay: $30.00–$44.00/hour (Based on experience)
Shift: Varied, 8-hour shifts (80 hours per two-week pay period)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join a leading healthcare facility in Coos Bay, OR. In this role, you will perform clinical laboratory testing that supports physicians in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of disease while ensuring accurate and timely patient results.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized clinical laboratory testing.
- Operate laboratory analyzers, microscopes, centrifuges, pipettors, and other laboratory equipment.
- Ensure accurate specimen processing and result reporting.
- Follow laboratory quality control and safety standards.
- Maintain laboratory records and documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare staff.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or equivalent qualification.
- Must meet current CLIA-88 requirements for Clinical Laboratory Personnel.
- Oregon MLT requirements must be met.
- Knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), and automated laboratory analyzers.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Schedule
- Full-Time
- 80 hours per two-week pay period
- Varied 8-hour shifts
- Weekend rotation required
- On-call availability may be required
