Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have more than 3 years of waiting experience, a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy their dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with a friendly demeanor.
Duties
- Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Ensure all tables not only yours are all being maintained.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns or requests.
- Process payments using cash registers or Aloha POS systems efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
- Uphold restaurant policies regarding health and safety standards.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality with experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants preferred.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a positive dining atmosphere.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and point-of-sale systems, particularly Aloha POS.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food service practices, including menu items, preparation methods, and dietary restrictions.
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
- A proactive attitude towards helping guests and enhancing their overall experience.
