Early Morning Baker
Croix Bakehouse is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Early Morning Baker to join our bakery team in Frisco, TX.
Schedule: 3:00 AM – 7:00 AM
This position is focused on baking prepared breads and pastries before the bakery opens for daily service.
Responsibilities
- Bake artisan breads using a deck oven
- Bake croissants and other pastries using a convection oven
- Follow established baking times, temperatures, and production guidelines
- Monitor breads and pastries for proper color, texture, and consistency
- Load and unload ovens safely
- Organize finished products for daily service
- Maintain a clean and organized baking area
- Clean trays, tools, and work surfaces used during the shift
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Must be consistently available to work 3:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to timing and detail
- Able to follow established baking instructions and production standards
- Comfortable working independently during early morning hours
- Previous bakery experience is preferred but not required
- Experience with commercial ovens is a plus; training will be provided
- Culinary and Baking & Pastry students are encouraged to apply
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
