Berkeley Eye Center's Atascocita location is currently seeking an experienced ophthalmic/optometric assistant.
Ideal Candidates will have 3+ years of optometry or ophthalmology experience involving back-office vision care exams and Electronic Medical Records.
The Atascocita location is open Monday through Saturday with later office hours on Thursday evenings (6 p.m.).
Preferred experience:
- General vision care knowledge
- Proficient with utilizing an auto-refractor /auto-lensometer
- Able to accurately check vision
- Proficient with checking pupils, eye muscles and visual confrontation
- Proficient with using EMR's and can pick up quickly with new software
- Able to handle high patient volumes
Additional factors
- Willing to work one late night per week (6 PM) and one Sat. per month
- Bilingual a major plus.

Berkeley Eye Center has 29 locations in the Greater Houston Area & Corpus Christi, providing a wide range of vision care services including routine vision exams, outpatient cataract and retina surgery, LASIK, Optical and much more.
