We are seeking a friendly, organized Front Desk Specialist to serve as the face of our clinic. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, managing the daily clinic flow, ensuring smooth administrative operations, and providing a warm, professional environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Experience: Greet patients warmly, check them in/out, and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming waiting area.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Manage, confirm, and optimize the doctor’s schedule to minimize wait times.
- Administrative Duties: Answer phone calls and emails, maintain patient records, and scan/file documentation.
- Financial & Insurance: Verify insurance eligibility, explain coverage/policies to patients, and collect co-pays and payments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication for patient interaction.
- Organization: Strong multitasking skills to manage phones, scheduling, and in-person patients simultaneously.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence with office software, electronic medical records (EMR), and basic, or ability to learn, specialized chiropractic management software.
- Customer Service: Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks like typing or filing.
Common Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office, receptionist, or customer service role is frequently preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is required.
