Job Summary
Complete Quality is seeking experienced Cherry Picker Operators to provide warehouse support services under contract for a furniture distribution facility. This is a 1099 opportunity ideal for safety-conscious professionals with experience operating material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Contractors will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including material movement, inventory handling, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving activities while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Compensation:
- Approximate Pay: $26.50 hourly (depending on shift)
- Payment Type: Weekly pay via 1099
Schedules:
FHN - Sunday thru Tuesday (6pm to 6am)
BHN - Wednesday thru Saturday (5pm to 3:30am)
Responsibilities
- Operate reach trucks, forklifts, and other approved material handling equipment to move, store, and retrieve furniture products.
- Load and unload furniture and related materials from trailers and warehouse locations.
- Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Safely transport products throughout the warehouse while minimizing product damage.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and location maintenance.
- Verify inbound and outbound shipments against shipping documentation.
- Maintain organized storage areas and staging locations.
- Perform pre-use equipment inspections and report any operational or safety concerns.
- Follow all facility safety requirements and operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and professional work area.
- Communicate effectively with onsite management regarding workflow, inventory discrepancies, or safety issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of reach truck or forklift operating experience in a warehouse environment.
- Experience handling large, bulky, or heavy furniture products preferred.
- Ability to safely lift, move, push, and pull furniture throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and inventory processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity expectations.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment for extended periods.
- Must clear E-Verify and background
Preferred Qualifications
- Reach Truck Certification or previous certification experience.
- Experience in furniture distribution, home goods, or large-item warehouse operations.
- RF Scanner and Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.
Work Environment
This position is performed in a furniture warehouse and may require:
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Handling oversized and heavy furniture products.
- Working in varying warehouse temperatures.
- Operating equipment in a busy warehouse environment.
