Physical Therapist – Acute Care

Join an acute care hospital offering a diverse acute-care environment with cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, oncology, orthopedics, neurology/neurosurgery, critical care, stroke care, and more. This is a great opportunity for a PT who wants broad clinical exposure and a collaborative hospital setting.
Schedule
- Mostly Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Some flexibility with hours
- 2 weekend days per month
- No on-call requirements
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care.
- Provide skilled PT interventions across a diverse acute-care population.
- Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility, and continued care.
- Manage caseload and coordinate daily patient assignments.
Qualifications
- New graduates welcome – experience not required
- Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required
- Current Florida PT license - or in the process
- BLS required within 30 days of hire
A strong opportunity for a new or experienced PT looking to build acute-care skills in a large, comprehensive hospital—without an on-call schedule.
Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
