Saturdays 2pm-9:10pm Sundays 1pm-8:10pm
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders, handle cash, credit card transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, upselling menu items to enhance sales, and addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, including bussing tables and food handling areas to ensure compliance with sanitation standards.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining food quality and safety standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring proper food safety procedures are followed.
- Support team members with food service duties including serving orders, restocking supplies, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient cashiering and sales processing.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, retail math, and order totals accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper kitchen procedures.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
- Experience in culinary roles or kitchen experience within cafes or restaurants is highly desirable.
