The Licensed Special Education Teacher develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities; evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives; and functions as IEP Manager to assigned students.

The Facilitator assists in planning, assessing, developing, and implementing special education due process procedures and/or special education programs. Ensure development and implementation of specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities; evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives.

Provides support to due process procedures and compliance requirements.

Provides professional development to teachers and administration in areas of responsibility.

Provides resources and consultation to assist in meeting student needs.

Education and Experience:
Current Minnesota teaching license required in Special Education in the assigned area of responsibility and/or the ability to obtain.
