Armor Health is seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical leadership for our healthcare program at Blair County Prison. This 4-hour-per-week position offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the health of an underserved patient population.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical direction and clinical oversight for the facility's healthcare program.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Review and approve clinical policies, procedures, and treatment protocols.
- Provide medical consultation and guidance to the clinical team.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee documentation and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania MD or DO license.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Current DEA registration.
- Current CPR certification.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Correctional healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with electronic medical records.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Pay: $150.00 - $155.00 per hour
