American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Primary Care position requiring an active Alaska license and at least 2 years of recent primary care experience.

Outpatient ambulatory care clinic setting

Primary Care department responsible for overall clinic operations
-
Monday through Friday day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
-
19-week assignment length

Active, unrestricted Alaska RN license required at time of submittal

Current BLS certification required
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Minimum 2 years of primary care experience required within the last 2 years

Proof of flu vaccine required

Skilled in patient assessments, specimen collection, and use of medical equipment and computers

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs

Strong communication, multi-tasking, and critical thinking skills required

Provide clinical services in collaboration with providers, clinic staff, and management to ensure quality patient care and efficient resource utilization

Provide leadership and direction to clinic staff, overseeing front desk and patient care operations
-
Maintain medication inventory and supplies, and perform quality control checks on Point of Care tests

Oversee opening and closing procedures of provider clinics

Document all care and services provided in a timely and professional manner

Assist providers and staff as needed to ensure efficient, quality patient care

Maintain skill sets, annual competencies, and certifications, and complete mandatory training and education programs

Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a clean, safe working environment
