Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team with energy, precision, and a passion for excellence. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance within our hospitality or commercial environment. Your leadership will ensure that cleanliness standards are consistently met or exceeded, creating a welcoming and safe atmosphere for guests, clients, and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure high-quality cleaning standards across all areas of the facility
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures aligned with industry best practices
- Oversee various cleaning operations including janitorial tasks, laundry services, and custodial duties
- Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety regulations, and equipment usage to maintain a safe working environment
- Inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; coordinate with General Manager for ordering
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, health regulations, company & Hilton Brand standard policies
- Manage staff schedules, performance evaluations, and ongoing training initiatives to foster team growth and efficiency
Skills
- Experience in cleaning operations including commercial cleaning, hospitality housekeeping, or hotel housekeeping management
- Proven staff supervision experience with strong leadership skills in team management and motivation
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment handling, and workplace safety protocols
- Ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality control
- Strong communication skills for effective team supervision and coordination with other departments
