Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $17.81 - $17.81 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Hospital Food Service Supervisor:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of food service employees during assigned shifts
- Support management in overseeing meal preparation, food production, and meal service for patients, visitors, and staff
- Assign work, monitor employee performance, and ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently
- Train, coach, and provide guidance to food service employees on policies, procedures, and food safety standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, infection control, and workplace safety requirements
- Monitor food quality, portion control, presentation, and customer service standards
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, inventory, and resolving day-to-day operational issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and food service environment
- Provide support to management with daily operations and perform other duties as assigned

Job requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
- Previous 3+ supervisory experience in food service is required; hospital, healthcare, institutional dining, or high-volume food service experience is preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and infection control practices
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and service standards
- Basic computer skills and experience with scheduling, inventory, or production systems are preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Background check and other pre-employment requirements may be required depending on the assignment
