Compensation Range: $35 - 38 per hour
We are looking for a strategic and consumer-focused Global Merchant – Men's Sportswear Footwear to help shape the future of our global footwear business. In this role, you will drive long-term product strategy, develop multi-season line plans, and build compelling seasonal assortments that align with consumer needs and business objectives.
As a Global Merchant, you will combine strategic vision with data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and deliver impactful product assortments across global markets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including Product Creation, Geo Merchandising, Planning, Finance, and Brand Marketing, to optimize merchandising performance using marketplace intelligence, retail analytics, and consumer trends. This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and analytical merchandising professional to influence the future of the business while delivering exceptional consumer experiences worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Line Planning: Craft long-range line plans and seasonal assortments using marketplace data, consumer insights, foresight, and hindsight.
- Go-To-Market (GTM) Execution: Partner with product creation, design, and development teams to ensure line plans align with identified market opportunities.
- Performance Analysis: Manage key merchandising KPIs, utilizing business reporting tools to analyze quantitative and qualitative data (sales, inventory metrics, consumer behavior, and trends).
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Build strong collaborative relationships with global and regional (Geo) merchants, brand marketing, planning, and finance teams to execute seamless product launches.
Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of Experience: Proven background in merchandising, buying, or product creation/planning within a footwear or apparel environment.
- GTM & Product Creation Mastery: Hands-on experience with Go-to-Market product creation frameworks.
- Strategic Line Planning: Demonstrated ability to leverage marketplace influence and consumer insights to shape product lines and drive commercial growth.
- Analytics Acumen: Proficiency with retail insight tools and business reporting analytics platforms to evaluate KPIs and metrics.
- Direct experience working with Geography (Geo) Merchandising teams.
- Deep, passionate background in footwear merchandising.
- Experience navigating complex, highly matrixed corporate environments.
