Job Title: MRI Tech
Unit: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373
Duration: 13 weeks of contract with possible extension.
Shift Time: 5x7 Nights 12AM - 8AM (35 hrs/weekly)
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 1+ years of MRI Tech experience.
- ARMRIT
Certifications & Licenses:
- A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH Required.
- ARMRIT Required.
- BLS Preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine quality assurance checks and report equipment malfunctions.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating MRI examinations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the MRI suite and equipment.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure instructions.
- Assist in training new staff and students as needed.
