The Delivery Driver is responsible for the prompt and efficient delivery of our pool and spa products to our customer’s homes. The Delivery Driver role includes but is not limited to: customer deliveries, warehouse work and customer service.
Essential job functions and expectations for the Delivery Driver include but are not limited to the following:
- Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods; Report and fix anything problematic.
- Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements.
- Mindfully pack and load products onto trucks according to company’s specifications.
- Follow set, scheduled route for daily deliveries; Promptly deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
- Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher.
- Unload goods as per client specifications.
- Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs; Obtain delivery confirmations and proper signatures from each customer.
- Complete miscellaneous projects as requested, potentially changing assignments on short notice.
- Effectively communicate with vendors, customers, management and peers; Remain professional.
- Safety conscious attitude; Follow rules and regulations of the road at all times.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle organized, clean and tidy.
- Previous warehouse and delivery experience preferred
- Assembly of fitness equipment, grills and patio furniture
Minimum Requirements:
- Clean Driving Record with Valid Driver’s License
- High School Graduate or GED
- Physically Able to Occasionally Lift up to 75lbs
- Forklift certification
- Professional Demeanor
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
