Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented General Labor Lead to oversee daily operations within our service business. This is an active role, that is both independent and team focused. You ensuring our days run smoothly, you maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards. As a leader out on our route, you will coordinate tasks, enforce safety protocols, and promote a collaborative environment that drives efficiency and excellence in customer service. Your energetic approach will inspire your team to meet our goals while upholding the highest standards in our industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in daily field operations across a variety of home service projects, including lawn maintenance, power washing, light handyman services, fence installation, trash bin cleaning, pet waste removal, moving assistance, and residential cleaning.
- Coordinate daily job assignments, routes, schedules, and crew responsibilities to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Serve as the primary on-site leader, maintaining productivity, professionalism, and high-quality workmanship throughout each project.
- Train, mentor, and support team members while promoting a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Conduct job site assessments and ensure all work is completed according to company standards and customer expectations.
- Enforce safety policies, proper equipment operation, and safe work practices at all times.
- Perform physical labor and work alongside crew members as needed to complete projects efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with customers, address questions or concerns, and represent the company in a professional manner.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality control and customer satisfaction before leaving each job site.
- Maintain and organize company vehicles, tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Identify and report maintenance needs, safety concerns, equipment issues, or operational improvements to management.
- Manage time effectively to keep projects on schedule and ensure crews arrive at job sites promptly.
- Assist with loading, unloading, transportation, and setup of materials and equipment.
- Support business growth by identifying opportunities to provide additional services that meet customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and customer interactions when required.
- Adapt to changing schedules, weather conditions, and service demands while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Assist with local marketing and business development efforts, including distributing promotional materials, capturing job site photos and videos, gathering customer reviews, and representing the company professionally within the community.
- Support customer retention initiatives by identifying opportunities for additional services and helping maintain positive client relationships.
- Assist with administrative, operational, and special projects as assigned to support company growth and daily operations.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to meet the evolving needs of the business.

- Comfortable performing physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials and equipment.
- Experience in home services, landscaping, maintenance, construction, cleaning, or related fields is preferred but not required.
