Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and speed, ensuring accuracy in order picking and packing processes
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory management software
- Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and proper storage
- Prepare shipping documentation in compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and load/unload machinery while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes, improve logistics workflows, and support shipping & receiving activities
- Assist with packaging products securely for shipment while following company standards for quality control
- Utilize data entry skills to update order statuses, inventory levels, and shipping logs accurately in various systems such as AS400 or MRP platforms
- Support customer service efforts by providing timely updates on order status and resolving any shipping or delivery issues efficiently
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems like AS400 or MRP platforms is highly advantageous
- Basic math skills for counting stock, measuring dimensions, and calculating weights accurately
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment is a plus; certification is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and inventory tracking
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment and support customer service initiatives
- Knowledge of shipping logistics procedures, international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and order fulfillment processes will set you apart
