Overview
Club Xcite is hiring compassionate, reliable, and motivated Behavior Technicians (BTs) to support students in school settings throughout the Rowland Heights area. In this role, you'll work directly with students to implement behavior support strategies, promote positive learning experiences, and help students achieve success both in and out of the classroom.
- Schedule: Mon–Fri; 2pm-6pm (up to 20 hrs/week, school calendar)
- Location: School Sites in Rowland Heights
Paid CPI Training classes starting July and August
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a BCBA
- Provide direct support to students in 1:1 or classroom settings
- Collect and document behavioral data
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
- Attend team meetings and training sessions
- Apply CPI techniques to manage and de-escalate behaviors (training provided if required)
- Ensure student safety and well-being
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months of ABA, behavioral technician, paraprofessional, or special education experience preferred
- Experience supporting individuals with behavioral, developmental, or learning needs in structured settings (schools, clinics, ABA agencies, after-school programs, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Willingness to complete paid CPI training through Club Xcite
