Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Duties
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of machinery, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Utilize schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial control systems, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to schedule work orders and track maintenance activities.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify faults in low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic systems, hydraulic circuits, HVAC/R systems, and other mechanical equipment with precision measuring instruments.
- Perform welding (including welding), mechanical repairs, and use technical sales skills to recommend equipment upgrades or replacements.
- Use field service techniques to support manufacturing operations by maintaining equipment uptime and ensuring safety compliance.
- Operate scissor lifts and other industrial vehicles safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas for maintenance tasks.
- Read electrical schematics, schematics diagrams, and analyze system failures to develop effective repair strategies.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and operational efficiency.
Skills
- Proven experience in manufacturing facility maintenance with a strong background in industrial mechanics and electrical diagnostics.
- Expertise in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, electrical blueprint interpretation, and engineering troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking.
- Skilled in hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including welding), and the use of precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to troubleshoot high voltage and low voltage electrical systems safely using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial electrician work and field service support within manufacturing environments.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation for working effectively with internal teams or external clients.
- Familiarity with military standards or experience is a plus for maintaining high safety standards in demanding environments.
- Fluency in English required for clear communication across teams; bilingual skills are advantageous.
