Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude, providing excellent customer service from arrival to departure
- Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate seating to optimize flow and reduce wait times
- Answer phone calls professionally, handle reservation inquiries, and communicate wait times clearly using proper phone etiquette
- Maintain organized waitlists and seating charts using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously
- Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and proper handling of guest areas
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone conversations confidently and professionally
- Familiarity with restaurant reservations OPENTABLE
- Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow efficiently
- Demonstrated customer service ability with a friendly, energetic demeanor that enhances guest experiences
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
