Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and maintain precise cash handling procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product questions, offering product demos when appropriate, and addressing concerns promptly.
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, restrooms and merchandise areas.
- Operate and maintain clean deli equipment for safe food preparation, handling, serving, receiving and storing.
- Enforce phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone.
- Support merchandising efforts by receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented.
- Promote a positive shopping experience through friendly communication skills and proactive engagement with customers.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Wage rate dependent on work effort and availability.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
