Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support high school and transition-aged students for the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Details
- Location: Vernon Hills, IL and surrounding area
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Start Date: August 18, 2026
- End Date: June 2, 2027
- High school and transition-aged student population
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language services to students with complex communication needs
- Conduct evaluations, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Develop and implement IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Support students using assistive and augmentative communication technology
Qualifications
- Active Illinois SLP License
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Experience working with assistive technology/AAC required
- Experience supporting students with complex needs required
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
