About Us Mehak Indian Kitchen & Bar is an upscale Indian fine dining restaurant offering an elevated culinary experience with authentic and contemporary Indian dishes, refined cocktails, and warm, attentive hospitality. We are looking for a skilled Bartender to join our team and craft memorable drink experiences that complement our menu.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve classic and craft cocktails, beer, wine, and Indian-inspired beverages with consistency and flair.
- Engage guests at the bar with warmth and professionalism, offering recommendations on drink pairings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area at all times.
- Check IDs and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with Georgia liquor laws.
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, timely service.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Manage bar inventory, restocking, and basic prep work (garnishes, syrups, infusions, etc.).
- Handle guest requests and resolve issues with a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience required; experience with craft cocktails preferred.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn Indian-inspired drink ingredients and flavors (e.g., spices, chai, mango, cardamom) a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 21+ to serve alcohol.
- Professional appearance, team player, and positive attitude.
- TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
