Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, professional, and results-driven Healthcare Sales Representative to join our growing Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) business development team in Northeast Florida. This position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with healthcare providers and medical organizations, generating qualified leads, and introducing our Revenue Cycle Management solutions to prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare sales, medical billing, RCM, healthcare business development, or B2B sales, along with strong communication and relationship-building skills. This is an Independent Contractor opportunity offering flexibility and competitive commission-based earning potential based on successful business development and client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new healthcare business opportunities throughout Northeast Florida.
- Prospect medical practices, physician groups, clinics, behavioral-health organizations, and other healthcare providers.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, networking, and in-person outreach.
- Develop relationships with physicians, practice owners, administrators, office managers, and healthcare executives.
- Research prospective clients to understand their business and revenue-cycle challenges.
- Generate referrals through professional networking and community relationships.
RCM Sales
- Introduce and promote Revenue Cycle Management services to healthcare organizations.
- Understand common healthcare revenue-cycle challenges, including billing, claims, denials, accounts receivable, and reimbursement.
- Identify opportunities where RCM solutions may improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospective clients' current billing processes.
- Present appropriate RCM solutions based on each prospect's needs.
- Coordinate with internal teams to develop proposals and service presentations.
- Clearly communicate the value and benefits of outsourced RCM services.
Healthcare Client Development
- Build relationships with physicians, practice owners, medical directors, practice administrators, office managers, CEOs, CFOs, and healthcare executives.
- Maintain regular communication with prospects and develop relationships that can lead to long-term business partnerships.
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Develop leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and local market research and visiting prospective clients.
- Identify healthcare organizations that may benefit from RCM services.
- Maintain consistent prospecting activity and schedule qualified meetings.
- Follow up with prospects throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, opportunities, and follow-up activities.
Sales Meetings & Presentations
- Schedule and conduct virtual and in-person meetings with prospective clients.
- Present RCM services clearly and professionally.
- Conduct discovery meetings to identify client needs and challenges.
- Explain potential operational and financial benefits of RCM services.
- Coordinate with company leadership or RCM specialists for detailed presentations when necessary.
- Follow up after meetings and move qualified opportunities through the sales process.
Territory & Local Travel
The primary territory will be Northeast Florida, with a strong focus on Jacksonville and surrounding markets. Potential markets include Jacksonville, Duval County, Clay County, St. Johns County, Nassau County, Baker County, Putnam County, and other Northeast Florida communities as assigned. The position may require local travel to healthcare practices, networking events, conferences, and client meetings.

Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, business development, healthcare sales, RCM, medical billing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong prospecting and lead-generation abilities.
- Ability to develop relationships with healthcare decision-makers.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, email, phone, and virtual meeting platforms.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience selling RCM or medical billing services.
- Existing relationships with healthcare providers in Northeast Florida.
- Established network of physicians, practice owners, administrators, or healthcare executives.
- Experience with B2B healthcare sales.
- Knowledge of medical billing and insurance reimbursement.
- Understanding of claims, denials, A/R, coding, and payer processes.
- Proven track record of generating new healthcare business.
