We're looking for an experienced Optical Manager who is passionate about leadership, customer service, and helping grow our practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building a strong team, coaching employees, and creating an outstanding patient experience.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop our optical and front office team
- Ensure every patient receives exceptional customer service
- Manage the daily operations of the office
- Oversee scheduling and staff productivity
- Resolve patient concerns professionally and efficiently
- Monitor optical sales and help the team achieve goals
- Train employees on sales techniques, workflows, and office procedures
- Manage inventory, frame boards, ordering, and vendor relationships
- Conduct employee coaching, performance reviews, and accountability meetings
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented workplace culture
- Work closely with the owner to improve office performance and grow the practice
- Develop relationships with local physicians and businesses to increase referrals and attract new patients
Qualifications
- Previous optical experience required
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
- ABO certification is a plus, but not required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution abilities
- Organized, dependable, and able to multitask
- Comfortable coaching employees and holding team members accountable
- Sales experience is a plus
