The Opportunity
We’re looking for a technical AI Solutions Consultant to design and build AI-powered solutions for our customers on the Microsoft stack. This is a hands-on engineering role: you’ll architect and develop Copilot agents, automate workflows, and integrate generative AI capabilities into Dynamics 365, the Power Platform, and Azure — not just describe what’s possible, but build and ship it. You’ll also partner closely with our sales team, serving as the technical expert who scopes, demos, and helps win opportunities. This role suits someone who is equal parts builder, communicator, and trusted advisor.
What You’ll Do: Design and Build AI Solutions
- Design, build, and configure AI agents and Copilot extensions using Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI Service, M365 Copilot, and the Power Platform.
- Develop custom plugins, connectors, and integrations linking AI solutions to Dynamics 365 ERP/CRM, Microsoft 365, Dataverse, and third-party data sources and APIs.
- Build automated workflows and low-code/pro-code applications with Power Automate and Power Apps that embed AI capabilities into customer processes.
- Configure and tune models, prompts, and knowledge sources (including retrieval-augmented generation) to meet specific customer requirements.
- Apply security, data governance, and responsible AI practices when architecting solutions, including for regulated and government environments.
- Build and maintain proof-of-concept and demo environments that showcase working AI solutions, not slideware.
Support the Sales Team
- Serve as the technical AI expert during the sales cycle, partnering with account executives on discovery, solution architecture, and qualification.
- Translate customer business challenges into clear, technically sound AI solution designs across Microsoft Copilot, Dynamics 365, the Power Platform, and Azure AI services.
- Build and deliver working product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical solution presentations tailored to each prospect.
- Contribute to proposals, statements of work, and RFP responses with accurate technical scoping and effort estimates.
- Help the sales team stay current on Microsoft’s AI roadmap, licensing, and competitive positioning.
Provide Educational Sessions to Customers
- Design and lead workshops, webinars, and training sessions that demystify AI for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Run “art of the possible” sessions, backed by live demos and prototypes, that connect AI capabilities to specific customer use cases and measurable outcomes.
- Develop reusable enablement materials such as decks, demo scripts, sample builds, guides, and recorded sessions that scale our education efforts.
- Coach customer teams on responsible AI adoption, change management, and driving end-user buy-in.
Drive Solution Success
- Collaborate with delivery and consulting teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, scoped accurately, and successfully implemented.
- Gather feedback from the field to inform our AI service offerings, reusable components, and internal best practices.
- Stay ahead of developments across Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, and the broader AI landscape, evaluating new capabilities for use in customer solutions.
What You’ll Bring
Required
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building solutions on the Microsoft stack (Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure), ideally including AI or Copilot implementations, within a consulting, solutions engineering, or technical customer-facing role.
- Practical, hands-on experience developing with Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, and/or Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry, Cognitive Services).
- Solid working knowledge of AI and generative AI concepts — prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, model configuration and tuning, and responsible AI practices.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a proven ability to explain technical solutions to mixed technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong discovery and consultative skills. You ask good questions and listen before recommending and building.
- Comfort working alongside a sales team and contributing to revenue goals.
Preferred
- Microsoft certifications (for example, Azure AI Engineer, Power Platform Developer, Dynamics 365, or Copilot Studio-related credentials).
- Experience extending solutions with custom code (Power Platform plugins, Azure Functions, C#/.NET, or Python).
- Experience delivering training, workshops, or enablement programs.
- Familiarity with serving government or regulated clients (CMMC, GCC/GCC High a plus).
