We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med Tech to join our healthcare team, providing vital support in various care settings. As an Experienced Med Tech, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting with medical procedures, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of individuals across assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, and home care environments. Duties
- Assist with patient care activities including vital signs collection, medication administration, and basic nursing procedures.
- Support residents and patients with activities of daily living such as mobility, hygiene, and feeding.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems like Epic or Cerner.
- Monitor patients' physiological functions and report any abnormalities promptly to nursing staff.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory impairments in memory or hospice care settings.
- Assist with complex procedures such as tube feeding, catheter care, and medication management following HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Med Tech in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or home care environments.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient care techniques.
- Experience with medical documentation systems
- Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs measurement, medication administration, catheter care, and tube feeding accurately.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring specialized dementia or Alzheimer's care.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and security of medical records.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
