Thomas Duke Architect, PA is a firm dedicated to design excellence, attention to detail, and exceptional client service. We are seeking a talented, self-motivated Architectural Associate with at least 6 years of professional experience to join our growing team.In this role, you will collaborate on all phases of design, from initial concepts through construction administration. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, a sharp design eye, and the ability to manage project delivery effectively.Key Responsibilities
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with the Principal Architect to develop design concepts and spatial layouts.
- CD Production: Produce comprehensive construction documents, detailed drawings, and specifications in REVIT.
- Permit Coordination: Navigate local building codes and coordinate submittals for building permits.
- Consultant Management: Coordinate engineering, structural, and specialty consultants to ensure seamless project integration.
- Construction Administration: Review shop drawings, answer RFIs, and conduct periodic site visits to monitor progress.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in an architecture firm.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office (experience with 3D rendering software is a plus).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and building codes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills to interface with clients and contractors.
- Legality: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
