Overview: RN needed for summer school 7/7 thru 7/30/26. Tues-Wed-Thurs 8a-2p
Compensation: $38/hr.
Job Responsibilities:

To provide school based professional nursing care-medications, treatments, and other care- to students consistent with students’ medical orders, school-based policies and procedures, and current standards of nursing care.

To integrate working knowledge of students’ health and family histories into nursing care activities.

To train, support, and communicate with school staff regarding student health issues through modeling, informal and formal staff instructions.

To communicate with families and team members regarding student health issues, as warranted, and refer persistent, significant, or complex student health issues to other school team members including Certified School Nurse or Director of Health Services, or to students’ health care providers, as warranted.

To document nursing care activities consistent school policies and procedures.
Requirements:

Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure required. Diploma from a school of nursing is required. BSN in nursing is preferred. Pennsylvania School Nurse Certification highly desirable. Experience with children with multiple disabilities, including visual impairments is preferred.
