WONACE Medical Supply is a rapidly growing Medicare-accredited Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider specializing in Complex Rehab Technology, custom mobility solutions, respiratory equipment, diabetes supplies, pediatric equipment, orthotics, and home medical equipment.
We are seeking an experienced Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to lead and expand our Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) division. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious ATP who enjoys building referral relationships, evaluating patients, and growing a successful mobility program.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience with custom power wheelchairs, seating and positioning, mobility evaluations, Medicare documentation, and physician collaboration. This individual will play a key leadership role in expanding our CRT services throughout the Greater Houston area.
Responsibilities
- Lead the growth and development of WONACE's Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) Program.
- Conduct mobility assessments and recommend appropriate Complex Rehab Technology solutions.
- Evaluate patients for custom power wheelchairs, seating, positioning systems, and mobility accessories.
- Build and maintain strong referral relationships with physicians, therapists, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, and case managers.
- Develop and execute a territory marketing plan to increase referrals and patient volume.
- Provide clinical product demonstrations and educational presentations.
- Collaborate with physicians and therapists to ensure appropriate documentation for insurance approval.
- Coordinate with internal intake, billing, and customer service teams to facilitate timely delivery.
- Maintain thorough documentation to meet Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance requirements.
- Stay current with Medicare policies, funding guidelines, and CRT best practices.
- Represent WONACE at community events, rehabilitation conferences, and networking opportunities.
QualificationsRequired
- Current Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) Certification through RESNA.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Complex Rehab Technology (CRT).
- Extensive experience evaluating and fitting custom power wheelchairs.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance documentation requirements.
- Experience working with manufacturers such as Permobil, Quantum Rehab, Sunrise Medical, Ki Mobility, Invacare, or similar.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel throughout the Greater Houston area.
Preferred
- Seating and positioning experience.
- Existing referral relationships with physicians, therapists, rehabilitation hospitals, or outpatient therapy clinics.
- Experience growing a CRT or mobility program.
- Knowledge of funding sources and prior authorization processes.

Compensation Structure
This position offers a competitive base salary with uncapped commission based on new referrals, completed equipment deliveries, and program growth. High performers have the opportunity to significantly increase their earnings through business development and referral generation.
