Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, food prep areas, and dining service zones to meet health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as ingredient prep or portioning under supervision
- Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow during busy service periods
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene compliance
- Help with general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and restocking supplies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of basic food handling safety procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail in cleaning and organization practices
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations
