Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to our customers. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and experience operating commercial vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner
- Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Communicate with customers to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries
- Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, including regular maintenance checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during deliveries
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing orders for delivery
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Familiarity with local roads and routes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle heavy lifting (up to [weight limit])
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check
