Hospital Services Delivery Representative
Schedule: Schedule varying between Monday-Sunday. Working hours are 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. with rotating weekends off. If schedule falls on a weekend, will receive one rotating weekday off

General Summary
Responsible to drive company supplied vehicles to deliver and pick up blood, blood components, tissue products and patient samples for testing as required in a timely manner.
Perform data entry of information into routing software mobile devices.
Perform specialized irradiation procedures as requested.

Provide world class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the voice of the customer (internal or external, including donors for select positions) through multiple feedback channels in order to resolve issues and drive satisfaction in accordance with the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Tasks
- Assist with daily inventory of blood and blood components.
- Prepare blood products for shipment in accordance with SOPs and established guidelines.
- Make deliveries by driving to area hospitals and commercial carriers in a timely manner.
- Drive to pick up blood and blood components at hospitals, donor sites, blood drives and other locations as required.
- Perform Irradiation Procedures.
- Execute assigned pick-ups, deliveries, and special instructions in accordance with guidance and prioritization provided by Shift Coordinator.
- Recognize equipment malfunctions and technical problems; take appropriate steps in solving and notifying supervisory personnel as required.
- Complete and submit trip sheets daily if required.
- Operate computer terminal.
- Operate vehicles in a safe manner and abide by all traffic laws.
- Promptly report vehicle repair needs.
- Participate in continuing education by attending in service training, seminars, and other workshops as required.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance.
- Keep vehicles clean (inside and outside).
- Monitor temperatures of blood storage equipment.
- Exercise initiative in seeking opportunity training to develop Hospital Services Fulfillment Specialist competencies; Upon qualification will be expected to serve as alternate/interim Fulfilment Specialist as required.
- Perform building security checks as necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Non-Essential Tasks
- Participate in/attend conferences in the field of EHS and benefits administration. Provide backup support to related HR functions as needed.
Education
Required Minimum Education
Requires a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
Preferred Education
Licenses and/or Certifications
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred
- Valid United States Driver’s License
Experience

- No prior specific work experience required.
- Requires computer experience.

- Must be able to process stat orders without delay and work calmly in emergency situations.
Working Environment & Travel Requirements
Works in a well-lighted air conditioned and heated laboratory/department.
Laboratory consists of complex setting with robotic instrumentation.
May be exposed to electrical, mechanical and chemical hazards and other conditions common to a laboratory environment.
May be exposed to blood borne pathogens and other conditions common to a clinical laboratory environment.
May have bodily exposure to refrigerator/freezer temperature, especially hands and face.
May be required to work any time of the day, evening or night during the week or weekend to include being on-call. Occupational Exposure Assignment - Category I
Travel Requirements
Will work extended hours during peak periods.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to drive on behalf of the organization.
Will sit, stand, walk, and bend during working hours.
Required to carry up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing corrected to a normal range.
