Under physician direction and supervision, take vital signs and records in EMR. Escorts patient to treatment area. Reviews patient medical record to assure that all needed test results, forms, and reports are available to the provider. Assists nursing with procedures and the lab with processing specimens according to established procedures. Performs in-office testing at direction of provider e.g. EKG's, blood draws, peripheral intravenous starts, central line dressing changes, and injections (vaccinations and supportive care agents). Assist with patient phone triage, stocking and drug inventory. Would rotate to all 3 office locations as needed: Royal Oak, Troy and Clarkston.
