We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious meals. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality menu items that meet our guests' expectations. This position requires attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and menu plans.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
Qualifications
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
- A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new culinary techniques.
- 16 years or older.
- Ability to work until kitchen is fully closed.
- Reliable transportation.
- Prefer kitchen experience. (Pizzerias are a plus)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
