Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to prevent incidents and ensure safety. A strong background in law enforcement or military service is preferred, along with relevant certifications.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Utilize CCTV systems to observe and report suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify potential security risks.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
- Manage conflicts effectively, de-escalating situations when necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly desirable.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention techniques is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
