Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $60.00 to $70.00 per hour.
Oversee accounting operations and manage a team of accounting staff across multiple functional areas.
Lead month end and interim close processes while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Support system related initiatives, including implementation and process improvements.
Provide guidance and oversight to direct and indirect team members across the accounting function.
Assist with coverage for key accounting responsibilities during temporary transitions and team changes.
Extensive experience in accounting with prior exposure to leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of general ledger processes, financial reporting, and close activities.
Previous experience working with enterprise accounting systems and supporting system implementations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and support overlapping projects or coverage needs.
Comfortable operating in a fast paced environment with evolving team dynamics.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing both direct and indirect reports.
Strong communication skills for collaborating across a large accounting and finance team.
Organized and adaptable work style with the ability to handle changing responsibilities.
Previous experience supporting transitions such as system changes or temporary coverage.
Proactive mindset with the ability to step in quickly and contribute with minimal ramp up time.
