Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, offering product recommendations and information.
- Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and conducting regular stock checks using RF scanners.
- Handle shipping & receiving processes, including verifying incoming shipments, updating inventory records, and preparing items for sale or storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stockroom, and produce areas to ensure a safe and inviting shopping environment.
- Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays, arranging products attractively, and ensuring signage is accurate.
- Provide excellent customer service through cashiering duties, assisting with returns, exchanges, and answering customer inquiries in multiple languages if applicable.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and stock control.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling bulky or heavy items regularly.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
- Experience in retail sales, grocery store operations, or warehouse environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing, discounts, and inventory tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
