Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices, along with experience in meal preparation and catering. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals that meet our standards for fine dining and customer satisfaction. The Cook will work collaboratively within the kitchen to ensure that all dishes are prepared efficiently and presented beautifully.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met during food preparation and cooking.
- Assist in menu planning and development, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Provide support to dietary aides as needed, ensuring that all meals meet nutritional guidelines.
- Participate in catering events, preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Ability to prepare diverse cuisines with attention to detail in presentation.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
