Job Summary (Essential Functions)
The required skills, such as effective communication and interpersonal abilities, are essential for
engaging with guests, understanding their needs, and providing personalized service that
enhances their dining experience. Attention to detail and organizational skills are used daily to
accurately take orders, manage multiple tables, and ensure the timely delivery of food and
beverages to all areas, including the cafe, pool, and golf course. Knowledge of food safety and
hygiene practices is applied consistently to maintain a clean and safe environment for both
guests and staff.
Job Tasks/Duties

Provides food and beverage service according to the club’s standards.

Maintains the cleanliness of production and service equipment along with the storeroom, service, and other areas.

Ensures foods are held at safe storage temperatures.

Maintains accurate payroll time records and reports.

Requisitions supplies from the club’s kitchen and storeroom and ensures proper transfer and storage.

Provides adequate display of garnishes and condiments on a “self-serve” basis.

Complies with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire, and other laws and requirements.

Inspects outlet facility to ensure that sanitation, safety, energy management, preventive maintenance, and other programs are in place in areas of responsibility.

Makes product suggestions to staff to increase sales and heighten member satisfaction.

Assists with the production and service of food and beverage products, as necessary.

Receives and resolves complaints applicable to the outlet.

Maintains and monitors an inventory of all outlet products, supplies, small equipment, and other items.

Consistently complies with the club’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests.

Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Family Plan Manager.
Education and/or Experience
-
Proficiency with POS systems
-
Knowledge of standard cocktails and bar offerings
-
Proficiency with the following of opening and closing SOPs

Previous history in the food industry

Some food preparation and/or food service experience.
