Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wine, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Process sales transactions accurately and handle cash or credit card payments with professionalism
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to ensure a pristine environment
- Engage with guests to foster positive relations, address inquiries or concerns promptly, and promote guest loyalty
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Culinary experience or food industry background that supports excellent customer service and food safety practices
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and teamwork
- Basic math skills for cashiering, sales transaction processing, and cash handling responsibilities
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain necessary sanitation certifications
