Overview
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Mechanic to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes quickly.
- Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess equipment performance.
- Use welding techniques—including welding—and other fabrication skills to repair or modify machinery components as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with field service teams and technical sales staff to support installation, upgrades, or troubleshooting of complex systems like Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and HVAC/R units.
- Conduct safety checks on high voltage and low voltage electrical systems while adhering to industry standards for industrial electrician work.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial mechanic roles within manufacturing facilities or similar environments.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, electrical circuits (including high voltage and low voltage), and schematics interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, and industrial maintenance tools.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals accurately; familiarity with CMMS software is a plus.
- Demonstrated skills in welding—specifically welding—and the use of precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation when supporting internal teams or external clients.
- Relevant certifications or experience in industrial electrician work, military technical training, or related fields are highly desirable.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
