We are currently hiring Fiber Integration Technicians to support large scale Google data center fiber operations projects across multiple states.

Position Summary
The Fiber Integration Technician will support fiber installation, patching, testing, remediation, documentation, and quality assurance activities within mission critical data center environments. Technicians will work alongside industry leading teams supporting Google's fiber infrastructure operations program.
This position is ideal for individuals with experience in data centers, structured cabling, fiber optics, telecommunications, low voltage systems, or network infrastructure deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, route, and remove fiber optic cabling within data center environments
- Perform fiber patching and fiber jumper installations
- Route fiber according to engineering drawings and cable pathways
- Label fiber infrastructure using approved standards and documentation requirements
- Clean, inspect, and scope fiber connections
- Perform fiber testing and troubleshooting
- Utilize OTDR equipment for testing and validation activities
- Conduct fiber remediation and quality assurance work
- Maintain proper cable management and pathway organization
- Verify fiber cleanliness and compliance with customer standards
- Document completed work and update project records
- Support structured cabling and Layer 1 infrastructure activities
- Follow all customer safety, security, and quality procedures
- Work within ticketing and work management systems to complete assigned tasks
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of fiber optic installation experience
- Experience with fiber patching and cable routing
- Understanding of fiber cleaning and inspection procedures
- Experience working in data centers, telecommunications, or structured cabling environments
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work on ladders and within data center environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Data Center Technician experience
- OTDR testing experience
- Fiber certification(s)
- Structured cabling experience
- Rack and stack experience
- Low voltage installation experience
- Google, Meta, Microsoft, AWS, Oracle, or hyperscale data center experience
- BICSI Certification
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
- Telecommunications or ISP experience
