Lead CMM Programmer

Who were looking for:
M&S Machining is seeking candidates who are experts in metrology with strong CMM programming and Quality lab management experience. This position requires the ability to inspect various elements, features, and dimensions as specified by engineering blueprints and help solve complex metrology issues as they arise while leading and ensuring the success of the quality lab.

What you’ll be doing:
- Utilize various pieces of measuring equipment, including but not limited to, CMM, optical comparator, calipers, micrometers, surface profilometer, gage blocks, gage pins, height stand, etc.
- Lead junior quality personnel to solve problems and further develop their technical abilities.
- Drive improvements in the quality department to meet customer on time delivery and quality requirements.
- Read and interpret simple and complex engineering blueprints that incorporate GD&T.
- Exercising arithmetic and trigonometry.
- Assist in identifying and solving complex manufacturing and dimensional issues.
Favorable if you have:
- Quality lab management experience.
- Machining, sheet forming, fabricating experience.
- Experience using PCDIMS software and Hexagon machines.
