- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Process cash transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service and upselling menu items to enhance sales.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food handling areas, dining spaces, and cashier stations, adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols.
- Manage food service customer order management through POS systems, ensuring timely delivery of orders and accurate billing.
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting sanitation efforts to uphold a hygienic environment.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, handle food with care, and follow proper food safety management practices at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food preparation skills.
- Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cash register operations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly attitude.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace.
